 Halloween 1985!

On this day

came l, into existence

at nine-thirty p.m.

against my mother's willed actions

trying to hold me inside until midnight

she thought me to be

the devil's baby for being born on this day

silly superstitions scared her

did not, I, go trick or treating or even in 1986

due to a fear-instilled media

that Satanists, were going around kidnapping blonde haired, blue-eyed white skinned baby boys and sacrificing them to Satan

and that my mom had in fact given birth to me and was exhausted from it!
